The inevitable day of the boys climbing out of their cribs came. A few days later we took their cribs apart and for the time being they are sleeping on their mattresses only. I check on them every night to see where the end up for the night. This is what I found the other night. Please don't mind the wallpaper. Isaac loves to pick and tear at it.

Sleep Solutions
Just a warning: this post is going to make us look like trailer trash with babies in closet and boys sleeping on the floor but when it comes to sleep we do what we can!

The my mom came for a visit. We put the air mattress in the baby's room and tried to put Anna in the bassinet in our room. She hated it and refused to sleep there. After one night of me co-sleeping with her in our bed I had enough. I made a bed for her in our closet out of blankets and pillows which she loved. She might have even slept better there than in her own crib.

Don't feel bad about the closet thing. I actually know a few people whose child slept in their closet :). And when it comes to sleep, you have to do what workds best for all of you.
I think that's so cute the boys wanted to sleep next to each other. We have to put E in a toddler bed soon. I'm a little nervous how that will effect his nap time
Sleep is SO IMPORTANT! I say do whatever works. We have a big walk-in closet now in our bedroom that is going to double as a napping room for sure! You can't let that space go to waste :) I know it seems ridiculous but I would love to give each of my kids their own room to make sure everyone gets enough sleep!
