I was excited to find these baseball rompers in a box of clothes from Rachael (thanks
Rach!). The first time they wore them I dressed them in the outfits simply because they coordinated with each other. I was happy to notice that they both had numbers on them and I had dressed the older brother in the "1" and little brother in "2". Tim and I were talking one day about maybe not telling the boys who is older and who is younger. I don't think we could get away with it and even if we wanted to. I'm sure a relative would mention it or they would find their birth certificates. Also, I have a cousin who has twin girls. From day one she never
referred to them as "the twins". It was very important to her that they have their own identity. So two things we think about: Does it really matter if there is always an oldest and youngest and does it matter if they think of themselves as twins or simply brothers? It probably doesn't matter either way.
Personally I think that since I had twins it's part of who they are, part of their identity and I'll
always think of them as my twins. And if we decide not to tell them who is older it probably will be only just to mess with them!

I always thought my babies would have a lot of hair when they were born. But they don't. Isaac's is a little longer now so I got to have fun and give them m
ohawks. Here's Isaac rocking a Guns-N-Roses
onesie looking very tough.

Asher, probably not sure what's going on.

Now Isaac says no more pictures!

Lastly, I love any interaction the boys have with each other. I play peek-a-boo with them all the time. Imagine my delight when I heard two very hearty laughters the other day. I peeked my head around the corner to see what they were doing. Asher was in the doorway of one room and Isaac was crawling into the hallway then crawling into the room that besides Asher's. Then Isaac would peek his head around the door frame and Asher would crane his head around to look for Isaac. They repeated this for about 10 minutes. They were playing peek-a-boo with each other! It was the cutest site ever.
