The boys and I are better. It seemed like this cold hung on forever but I finally have my happy boys again. For awhile there I was beginning to think I imagined that my boys could be happy without me holding them all the time. While they were sick Asher especially would get upset when I left the room. One time I held my hands out to pick Isaac up and Asher darted into my arms butting past Isaac, the next time this happened I actually picked up Isaac and Asher had a meltdown because I wasn't picking up him. He was so clingy this past week. It is nice to see them playing with their toys, smiling and laughing, and just being happy.

Lately we've been enjoying a new CD given to the boys from their Aunt Rebekah. For Christmas she gave them the children's CD from the Barenaked Ladies. The songs are silly and rhyme-y and really fun. Although when they get older I'll have to explain to them that raisins do come from grapes, but people do not come from apes. I guess I'll have to explain the band's name too...

On a side note my heart is aching today because my good friend from Las Vegas died this weekend, Athena. She was only 40 and has a 7 year old son. Her whole life was devoted to her boy. Before I had my boys I often hoped that I would be half as good of a mother as she was to her son. I could write a book about her many wonderful attributes. She will be missed.

Here are some happy pictures of the babies.

Hi Tammy! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday, & I'm glad to hear that the boys are feeling better. Its bad enough for me to have one sick little guy, I couldn't imagine two.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Its hard anytime, but especially this time of year. Hopefully her son will know what a sweet women she was. Happy New Year. Love, Adja

Isn't is just like their favorite aunt to give the boys such an inappropriate (but fun) gift.
