Took the boys to the Urgent Care today. We thought they had a little cold. Thursday they were running a fever but the nurse said that was normal after getting the flu shot. After another sleepless night and Isaac's cough much worse we drove to the clinic. Both Tim and I were hoping they weren't going to make up feel stupid for taking them to the doctor for a viral infection.
Asher's temp was 104 so the doc took a look at him first. His left ear was goopy and it turned out he did have an ear infection so bad that the ear drum popped. We felt so terrible for not taking him to the doctor before. Isaac is getting better, his fever passed but the doc gave both of them antibiotics just in case.
On a side note, Isaac got his blood drawn yesterday for some lab tests. He was so good! He didn't cry or wiggle when he was poked or even for the 2 minutes it took to draw the blood. He just looked at the needle, the nurse and me the whole time. He was feeling pretty under the weather yesterday so he probably just didn't have the energy to cry.

I am so sorry!! I know it's hard when your babies are sick. I just feel so bad for them.
I read some of your previous posts too. Happy Birthday to your boys!! As for the weight gain, not sure what to tell you. Formula? Pediasure? Powdered doughnuts? Oh, what about McDonald's? No seriously, feed them lunch there everyday and see what happens.

Oh no! Poor babies. I just hate it when they are sick. Hang in there. Happy late birthday to them. The pictures are adorable and I can't believe that it has been a year already! Where has the time gone???
